Detailed account of this expedition, 128 pages plus 49 photographic plates at rear THERE SHOULD BE 50 but number 12 is missing. Pages are overall clean just some light browning to first and last couple of pages and some browning to title page from a newspaper cutting of the expedition loosley laid in. Book comes with a handwritten letter from S langdon with his signature, the letter thanks Mrs Bock for a donation of £5 for the expedition and saying he has sent this copy of the book to her, the original cheque is also present with bank clearance stamp on it. The letter, the cheque and a newspaper cutting are pinned together. Outer boards are slightly rubbed on edges, a few light marks and slight fading to spine and edges. HEAVY BOOK 1.7 Kg with packing EXTRA POSTAGE REQUIRED FOR OVERSEAS. Though not perfect a pleasing copy of an interesting book especially with the letter SEE IMAGE.
